The acid-free EFA Bonding Agent is a companion to all the EFA handmade fine art hard paper and board, soft sculpture papers and Starter Casts™. It is odorless, nontoxic and completely safe. Although it can be glue, it really works wonderfully with our paper (similar to intense heat with metal). It melts and fuses the paper fibers together to make many pieces into one piece. This is precisely how the detail is created. It is a water mix product that can be easily rendered from thick-to-thin for various applications. A good rule: The thicker the paper the thinner the bonding agent. The powder is mixed according to the instructions on the bag, or as demonstrated on our DVD. Three cups of powder can make over a gallon of bonding agent.
