These Starter Casts™ come in five scales, ranging from one-sixth to life-size. This is a very challenging sculpture to do. We recommend the “Buffalo Skull Project Lesson”™ as a good starting point. They are all sheet-casted, a process that is far more labor-intensive and time consuming. Also, there are many more molds involved than other Starter Casts. ™ For these reasons, the costs reflect those casting requirements accordingly.
Note: The photo to the left is for the one-quarter, life-size skull. Not all buffalo skull mold casts look like this one, but the variations are minimal. Below is a completed skull at one-third life-size.
