The kit has a 1/3 life-size “Human Male Bust Starter Casts™, plus all of the paper, and bonding agent necessary to do this Project Lesson™ (with the step-by-step DVD instruction).
This is a great opportunity for advanced artists to sculpt on a human face, clothe and detail-out the bust in museum quality cast paper sculpture, taught by the very artist who invented the process. The beads, claws and leather paper are all included. With this kit, you will have enough materials left over to work on a companion piece, the“Human Female Bust Starter Cast”. We recommend ordering this kit also to accomplish both male and female busts. The kit’s value in art materials alone prices separately is $177.00. The finished size of your piece will be about 11″(high) by 8″(wide) by 4″ (deep).

Description: This special print is on stretched canvas and is a (giclee) oil painting. It is a reproduction of an original oil painting created from a picture Allen took of Patty on Chief, and from others he took of the Grand Teton Mountains (above Jackson Hole, Wyoming). Patty was an awarding-winning illustrator before she and Allen made a career change from advertising to fine art, in 1987.

Buffalo Hunts

Over the years, Allen and Patty have created many buffalo hunt pieces (1/6 and 1/4 life-size scale). The largest piece to date, “Prairie Edge Hunt,“ is featured on this page. There is a video available on this website called “Creating Prairie Edge Hunt” that reveals how the couple created this monumental 7′x5′x20″ relief piece (1/6 life-size scale). The gallery that commissioned the piece is Prairie Edge; located in Rapid City, SD. A number of the pieces below were also commissioned.
