Description: This is a mystical scene where two Plains Indians are trying to bring down a large and angry buffalo bull. An ancestor spirit watches over the hunters as the eagle covers him. Buffalo ghosts are in the background, and a buffalo pipe is tied to a large buffalo bull’s skull. Allen first photographed the sculptures of each individual cast paper piece he created. The sculptures were accomplished in a variety of sizes, over a period of time, for many different original pieces. This special print is signed and numbered, and printed on archival photo paper with archival inks.
