Description: This is a Powwow scene (expanded and altered from another print called “Powwow- Picking the new Chief”) showing 23 Plains Indians from four different tribes: Sioux, Cheyenne, Crow and Blackfoot. They are meeting to discuss many things, but notice the piles of rocks set up with a buffalo, to attract the bison to this location for a future hunt. Allen first photographed the sculptures of each individual cast paper sculpture piece created by wife Patty Eckman and him. This special image is available in two sizes and two forms: a large photo print, and a larger giclee on canvas.
