Pony Dance Stick

Description: The pony dance stick (or horse dance stick) is a favorite with Native American Indians, as they are used in the traditional and fancy dances. This one is designed with a horse head at one end and a single hoof at the other. Horsehair makes up the mane, and the stick is decorated with two eagle feathers and cloth twist tassels. There is a rope bit in its mouth.  This piece is framed in an acrylic box.
