My Home is in the East

Description: This is a mystical scene where the spirit of Chief Crazy Horse mounted on a horse is pointing eastward in the Black Hills of South Dakota. The title mimics the chief's own words. Allen, first photographing the sculpture of a mounted chief used in a large Eckman piece called "Prairie Edge Powwow", accomplished this piece. He did a digital composite from photos of his sculpture and the photo he took high in the Black Hills.
