Description: This is a scene of a Plains Indian Chief wearing a war bonnet with tails, holding up a buffalo skull in prayer, as a Golden Eagle soars above. Actually, the chief, horse and eagle, as well as the buffalo skulls, rocks and grass, were first created as separate white cast paper sculptures. These elements were used in several different Eckman pieces of cast paper sculpture. Allen did a digital composite from the photos of his sculptures to create this scene. This special print is signed and numbered, and printed on archival photo paper with archival inks.
