Description:
This is a scene showing five Plains Indians on horses. They have just remounted after piling rocks up and placing a buffalo skull on each pile. The buffalo are dwindling and in this desperate attempt, they believe these structures will attract the buffalo herds. Then, the medicine man on the left raises his lance and begins calling the buffalo. Allen photographed the sculptures of each individual cast paper sculpture piece he created. The sculptures were accomplished in a variety of sizes, over a period of time, for many different original pieces. This fine art print is printed on high quality archival photo paper with archival inks and it is signed and numbered by the artist.
