Description: This is a mystical scene showing the spirit of a mounted Lakota Medicine Man crossing the North Platte River. He wears a buffalo headdress, as he raises his lance in recognition of two buffalo spirits in the sky at sunset. The piece was accomplished by Allen first photographing the sculpture of a mounted medicine man used in another large Eckman sculpture. The two buffalo are from two other Eckman pieces. This special print is signed and numbered, and printed on archival photo paper with archival inks.
