How a Commission can be Accomplished
Allen and Patty Eckman have completed hundreds of commissions over the course of their fine art careers. Commission clients often have a select location and specific size in mind for the finished work. Many simply email a digital image of the specific location where the finished piece will be placed. After the concept is established, the artists email a sketch to the client. Upon approval of the sketch, a second digital photo is emailed to the client that is “sized” to the wall (client-specific area) to illustrate how the finished work will look. The client then commissions the finished piece, and the Eckmans go to work. Upon completion, the artists email a photo of the finished piece to the client. The piece is then shipped to the client and installed at the commission-specific location. If you are interested in having Allen and or Patty produce a commission for you, please indicate that by the sketch-fee purchase below, and Allen or Patty will contact you. A $500 non-refundable sketch fee is required before any commission is accepted. The fee will be credited to the final commission cost.
The 1/4 life-size piece shown here is titled “Replenishment”. It was a commission from an Arizona couple who wanted an Apache with a pack horse on an Arizona mountain wilderness trail. It was conceived and executed by both allen and Patty Eckman and was signed you both of them. The two artists posed for this photo with the piece in their studio before it was shipped.
