Taking the Bull with the Bow-Cast Paper Sculpture (Wall Hanging)

Description

This special limited edition original is the cast paper sculpture (wall hanging) version accomplished by Allen Eckman and is more detailed and labor intensive than the bronze version. “Taking the Bull with the Bow” is how this high detailed warrior is hunting his large buffalo bull. Under his quiver with bow case he has a Sharps Carbine which he will use to dispatch any dangerous wounded animal he has hunted but unsuccessfully killed. With his bow he can take down many more animals on the run than he could with trying to reload the cumbersome single shot rifle.

This large 1/6 life-size wall hanging is a freestanding sculpture on a sculpted relief cast paper sculpture original base.  It is 26″ high, 40″ long, and 8″ in relief, presented in a beautiful clear acrylic case with hanging strip ready to hang. Note: This piece can be created in a flopped version going from left to right.
