“Marines” Bronze Edition Sculpture

Description

Allen Eckman is a decorated combat veteran of the Vietnam War and a former Sgt. in the US Marine Corps. He is a member in the Marine Corps League, Black Hills Detachment 484 in the State of South Dakota. The piece shown here is the original sealed cast paper for the bronze. Also represented is a color mock-up image with turntable base. The work is a commemorative piece in celebration of the 250th birthday of the United States Marine Corps and dedicated to all who have worn the uniform. Six of the eight panels in the octagon base list 18 of the most significant wars and events from the War of Independence to Afghanistan. The edition is limited to 25 bronzes. 35″ high 25″ wide
